Plus, minute taking and progressing follow up actions and reports, retaining up-to-date and accurate records of financial transactions through the inputting and retrieval of data from information systems, including payments of invoices, purchase orders, on-line payments, P cards & Payroll etc.

I work within Reflect which is a voluntary support service that offers support to women whose children are in foster care or adopted. We aim to help them as their circumstances change and support our women to look at a more positive future. We support and empower women to make better choices in their lives and implement change, address historical and current issues and concerns and be an emotional support for those difficult days.

Keyworker – The Hawthorn Project

As a Key worker i am the named person whom a family can approach for advice about, and any practical help with any problem related to the disabled child or young person. I can offer support to you and your family for a 12 week period where your support plan will be re-assessed. I can be the first point of contact and support with DLA/PIP applications & any other financial application. I will listen to your views and ensure that other professionals are aware of them. I will get to know you and your family and draw up a plan of support to meet your needs. I can offer information on a whole range of relevant topics. I also conduct school visits, attend school meetings and refer to appropriate services when the time is right.

Family support practitioner – The Hawthorn Project

As a family support practitioner I work with and support parents and families with children who have a range of additional needs.  Within this role I liaise with medical and educational professionals to ensure all provisions are put in place for the child and their individual needs.  I can support with DLA/PIP applications & any other financial applications required for the child or young person. I also facilitate the child development team meetings every month.

Family Support Practioner – Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion Young Carers Service

I oversee both Young Carers services in Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. Within this role I complete Young Carers assessments, reviews and any safeguarding related work.  I facilitate support groups, school drop in sessions and awareness raising sessions throughout the two counties and offer support, information and act as an advocate for young carers.

Together with my colleagues I also facilitate workshops for young people on a wide range of issues, and deliver activities during the holidays. Working with young women our service aims to improve their confidence and self-esteem, emotional resilience and aspirations.

I head up The Hatch, a social enterprise cafe/sandwich bar in the Magistrates Court.  I work alongside young people with learning difficulties and additional needs to give them work experience and life skills.
