Although the idea of the ID Card is to make it easier for Young Carers to be identified in Schools, Pharmacies and Health settings here, in Pembrokeshire, local businesses have been reaching out to offer support in the form of discounts and free items.
Local discounts are available to Young Carers who show the card at the following venues.

Visitors with special needs may admit 1 carer free of charge when they purchase an Adult, Child or Concession ticket. Please bring proof of entitlement with you. Documents accepted are: DWP or DLA letter, PIP Letter, or a Carer’s card from carer organisation or council. Please note that we unfortunately do not accept Blue badges as proof.
Offering Young Carers 50% discount in using our spaces on half day/day passes. Perfect if you need somewhere quiet to come and do some studying/work, with reliable broadband, free tea, coffee, water, and fully funded 1-2-1 business support.
Disabled visitors pay our standard admission prices and this automatically includes an accompanying carer space free of charge. Our staff are trained to never assume a disability so proof of disability is required to get your free carer place. This can be any of the following forms of documentation; Disability Living Allowance (DLA) Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Blue Badge (photo ID required) Signed letter from GP (photo ID required) Access Card Documentation should be dated within the last 24 months. When purchasing tickets online just select an adult, child or senior standard admission ticket for the disabled visitor and then add an accompanying free carer ticket. Bring proof of disability as outlined above with you on the day.
